3 tips on how to shift a bad day

OH MY!  Some days are just not working, it’s not one but a few things that turn to vinegar. I have had plenty of those days during which I only wished I stayed in bed.

I’m sure you know what I’m talking about.

 I recall a day recently where I had booked a stand in a huge exhibition. It was expensive. I had forgotten to tick the box of the dock loading and when I arrived at the center I realized I was not authorized to use the dock lift and had to unload the massive Ute care with back and force running in the stairs. A move that potentially would have last 30 min lasted for hours.

 I, then had to rush to the printer to get my flyers for the event. I was getting thousands of flyers printed and they had not aligned the recto / verso and when cut, the most important piece of info: my website, was missing from the document. It was just too late for me to re-print.

 Finally, I had not realized I had to prepaid the parking and ended up paying something ridiculous like $50 for 90 min.

 That day was just a “bad news after bad news” day and I needed to shift it BIG TIME. So here is what I’ve done:

In this video I’m sharing the 3 following tips:

Tip 1: Shake your body, move

Mind-Body connection is not unidirectional and whist we often talk about shifting our mind set to get motivated, we can also shift our mindset with our physiology and that’s super useful.

Think about a time you were in full celebration: DO IT as if it was NOW!

Tip 2: Express gratitude

And if you’re feeling really bad, pen and paper help you to really feel it.

Tip 3:  Breathe and go back to the bodily sensations

Feel inside of your body instead of being stuck in the head.
