What to do after a long day?

We are creatures of habits and we take them on very quickly. Seriously I’m always extremely surprised on how quickly I can slip into my unconscious mode and do things I really don’t want to do.

When I realized, I was on Facebook without even consciously choosing to do so: I took it off. And sadly, it took me a few days before I stop going into my phone searching to click on the app to access it.

Do you know why?

Because our brain is like a forest. If you take a path for the first time in the forest, you have to walk consciously has you need to create a new way through the bush.

Here in Australia, we have to watch out for snakes, spiders or wombat holes. You really can’t afford to walk without watching.

But once you take that path for a long time every day, it becomes a road. It becomes easy to walk on it and over time you can even walk without watching because it’s cleared.

We call that the path with the least resistance. And that’s what your mind does: it will always take the path with the least resistance.

We have all different sorts of coping mechanism and the ones you chose to adopt after a long, hard or difficult day are important.

What do you do when you want to end a day?

Do you crash on the sofa pressing on the magic TV buttons? Or do you drink it so you can forget?

In this video, I’m sharing tips to help you end your hard day in such a way so that you actually learn from it and develop your emotional intelligence.

In this video, I’ve shared tips you can adopt after a long, hard or difficult day.

It doesn’t mean that you should not watch the TV or have that drink. It’s important to understand yourself better so you can learn to avoid those days.

I give you the last anecdote: one day I realized that each time I tried to stop drinking coffee first thing in the morning, I would have such a bad night sleep that coffee was mandatory.

Was my unconscious mind creating the event (trigger) to allow me to continue with this delightful pleasure of mine: long black first thing?

This is the reason why I’m sharing those tips today and hope this video will help you get closer to the best you.
