Some of our patterns are unhealthy and we know it. We can stop for a little while and something comes up and the hold pattern takes over. Why do we repeat them when we are conscious of their negative effects?
Once I was a mum I realized that some patterns I was repeating were unconscious and I had a list of things I knew I didn’t want to repeat as a parent. My parents did the best they can and I actually admire most of their parenting journey now that I’m a parent.
A few things I really didn’t want to repeat and I spent years searching, reading and learning about the mind and how we can make sure we change our unconscious patterns.
